Friends of the Academy
Dear PCCA Friends and Families,
Mr. Pat Williams, co-founder and Senior Vice President of the Orlando Magic, was this year’s recipient of our Spirit of Leadership award at the Friends of the Academy event held on April 6, 2013 and he delivered an unforgettable message about Leadership! We were also so pleased to honor Mrs. June Claytor, one of PCCA’s founding families and our Media Specialist for 29 years, by dedicating and naming our Media Center for her!

On behalf of the Pine Castle Christian Academy School Board and Event Planning Team, thank you to everyone who contributed to and/or celebrated with us at the Friends of the Academy 30th Anniversary Celebration on April 6th! With your help we raised more than $38,000 which will be used for technology upgrades (new computers), scholarships and for other areas as designated by the donor.
The excitement, energy and enthusiasm created by those who were able to join us was a great encouragement to our Staff, Parents and Board. PCCA has an amazing community! We hope you, too, were encouraged to see what God has done through Pine Castle Christian Academy in the past as well as to look forward with anticipation of what He will do in the future!
You may already be partnering with us by praying for the school, by volunteering or giving financially. If you are, then again, thank you! But maybe you would like to be more involved, and partner with PCCA in a greater way! We encourage you to prayerfully evaluate what God would have you do and then to be obedient to Him in carrying it out. As you evaluate, please consider the following:
* As an “independent” school, PCCA does not have a “parent organization” providing financially for the school and its needs.
* PCCA works hard to keep its quality education among the most affordable in Orlando. Your donations make it so that more students can be impacted by PCCA.
* Even in the midst of challenges, PCCA has increased the percentage of financial aid given to families who, otherwise, could not have afforded to experience PCCA. Your donations make this possible!
It is our hope that, throughout the evening, we were able to clearly communicate our on-going mission: The mission of Pine Castle Christian Academy is to prepare the next generation, one student at a time, to impact the world for Christ.
We are doing a lot, but we want to do so much more, especially in the areas of curriculum, technology, athletics, fine arts and facilities!
