Friends of the Academy
Join us on Sunday, April 27, 2014 for our annual Friends of the Academy fundraising event. This year’s theme is Jump In! and the event location will be in the beautiful showroom of Regal Boats World Headquarters. In addition to dinner and entertainment we will be presenting Mrs. Brenda Oliver with our Spirit of Leadership award. Mrs. Oliver has faithfully served Pinecastle Christian Academy since 1991 in several capacities, including teacher, Principal and most recently as Head of School. We hope that you will make a special effort to help us honor Mrs. Oliver before she relocates to Houston with her husband.
Event Sponsorships are available! Please view our sponsorship form for details.

Entertainment for the Friends of the Academy event will be provided by members of the SAK Comedy Lab team (including PCCA Class of 2004 alumni Chris Dinger). Since 1991, SAK has been an Orlando destination for creative, hilarious fun for all ages due to their committment to “smart comedy” without obscenities or use of shock humor. The SAK team knows how to make a group laugh!
Dinner will be catered by Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Carrabba’s serves fresh, flavorful Italian dishes prepared from the finest ingradients sourced from around the world. Just about everything is made by hand every day in each restaurant, from their delicious soups and sauces to salad dressings and desserts. Carrabba’s is proud of the time and effort that goes into preparing each of their dishes and that pride comes through in each flavorful bite!
We are blessed to partner with our friends at Regal Boats, who are graciously hosting the Friends of the Academy event in their beautifully remodeled World Headquarters showroom. Regal is one of the largest family-owned-and-operated boat manufacturing companies in the world. Regal Boats is dedicated to making boat owners around the world not just reach their destination, but be a part of an exceptionally better experience.
You may already be partnering with us by praying for the school, by volunteering or giving financially. If you are, then again, thank you! But maybe you would like to be more involved, and partner with PCCA in a greater way! We encourage you to prayerfully evaluate what God would have you do and then to be obedient to Him in carrying it out. As you evaluate, please consider the following:
* As an “independent” school, PCCA does not have a “parent organization” providing financially for the school and its needs.
* PCCA works hard to keep its quality education among the most affordable in Orlando. Your donations make it so that more students can be impacted by PCCA.
* Even in the midst of challenges, PCCA has increased the percentage of financial aid given to families who, otherwise, could not have afforded to experience PCCA. Your donations make this possible!
It is our hope that, throughout the evening, we were able to clearly communicate our on-going mission: The mission of Pine Castle Christian Academy is to prepare the next generation, one student at a time, to impact the world for Christ.
We are doing a lot, but we want to do so much more, especially in the areas of curriculum, technology, athletics, fine arts and facilities! Would you please consider what God would have you to do to join us in preparing the next generation, one student at a time? Community has always been a strength of our school! Thank you for doing your part!
Serving to Glorify God,
